RGP5 BHP Bridge Construction

As part of RGP5 this contract duplicated the iron ore rail line between Port Hedland and Shaw Siding. The new line enabled BHP Billiton Iron Ore to meet increasing demands for export of iron ore.

The scope of work for Denada included survey provision for:

• Building a camp to house 1,000 personnel.
• Constructing 10 new bridges.
• Bulk earthworks of over 1.2 million cubic metres.
• Laying 220 km of rail track.
• Installing 840 km of fibre optic cable.
